Ashwagandha, known as Withania somnifera or Indian Ginseng, is a root commonly used in Ayurvedic traditional medicine that is known to:
- Help balance our mood and increase a feeling of happiness. It has a positive effect on the thyroid, which controls many of our emotional hormones.
- Reduce the negative effects of stress. It is shown to decrease serum cortisol levels and calm the central nervous system.

FAQ
Q: Where is your Ashwagandha from?
A: The Ashwagandha used for our capsules is sourced from its native India.
Q: What part of the plant is used?
A: We use the root, the part of the plant that has been used for its medicinal properties in Ayurveda for centuries.
Q: Does your Ashwagandha contain Withaferin A?
Yes, it does. This phytochemical is known for its anti-inflammatory and immuno-modulatory properties. Along with other phytochemicals present in Ashwagandha, it is similar in structure to phytochemicals found in Panax ginseng, perhaps the origin of another common name for Ashwagandha, Indian ginseng.
